OSB boards are multi-layer construction panels made by pressing and gluing layers of long, thin wood strands. During production, these layers are arranged at right angles to one another, which is how the boards earned their name in English—Oriented Strand Board (boards with cross-oriented strands). The elements are bonded together with resins and adhesives, then compressed into a very rigid and strong panel that possesses excellent mechanical properties.

OSB panels are classified into various levels of water resistance based on their processing method:
OSB 2 panels are intended for indoor use in dry environments.
OSB 3 panels are designed for use in moderately humid conditions and are the most widely utilized in construction.
B+M Ritam is the authorized distributor for OSB panels manufactured by Swiss Krono.
Areas of application:
OSB panels are manufactured in thicknesses ranging from 6mm to 25mm.
Thanks to their numerous advantages, OSB has become an indispensable material in the construction of wooden structures and is seeing a growing range of applications. Due to their appealing texture, these boards are also increasingly used as an aesthetic feature in interior design.
